About the role
The Major Gifts Officer will play a key role in English National Ballet’s programme of major donor cultivation and stewardship, delivering exceptional donor care across a range of activities including high profile opening nights, insight events, ticketing, bespoke visits, donor communications, funding proposals and reports.
Responsibilities
- Support the Major Giving team with engagement, cultivation and stewardship of donors and prospects.
- Work in a collaborative and integrated way with colleagues across ENB to identify fundraising opportunities and develop new propositions for philanthropic support.
- Work closely with the Senior Major Gifts Manager and Internal Events Manager to plan and deliver cultivation and stewardship events, including invitations, guest list management, briefing notes, seating plans and post-event thank you communications.
- Act as Major Gifts lead on updating and maintaining the Company’s CRM system (currently Tessitura) with accurate and concise entries to track donor cultivation and stewardship, along with data import and export.
- Write targeted and compelling funding proposals and accurate reports presented to the highest professional standards
